What’s Included in the Free Course Participants who access the free course through our online learning platform will receive: A guided 6-part beginner yoga series Step-by-step beginner-friendly sessions Foundational breathing and breath awareness techniques Practical mobility and recovery-focused movement Guided nervous system regulation practices Bonus mini flows and wellbeing resources Access to future wellbeing content and updates The course is designed to be approachable, practical, and flexible, allowing participants to complete sessions in their own time and revisit practices whenever needed. As part of the Veteran Yoga Project, we’ve made our beginner yoga course freely available online to help participants explore simple, practical, and beginner-friendly wellbeing practices at their own pace. This course has been designed to support people looking to improve movement confidence, reconnect with their breath and body, reduce stress, and explore approachable self-care practices that can be integrated into everyday life. No previous yoga experience is required. Whether you’re: completely new to yoga, returning to movement after time away, managing stress or overwhelm, looking for practical nervous system regulation tools, or simply wanting a supportive place to begin, the course has been designed to meet you where you’re at. Our approach focuses on accessibility over perfection, encouraging participants to move at their own pace while developing greater body awareness, mobility, breath awareness, and confidence with movement.
