Invisible Injuries- Mental health ambassadors

Have you ever wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? Come Try Diving is a fully supported introductory scuba diving experience designed specifically for veterans, first responders and their immediate support persons. Discover a New Challenge. Build Confidence. Find Your Community. Come Try Diving Discover Dive EOI
WHAT IS COME TRY DIVING? Whether you've always wanted to try scuba diving or are simply looking for a new challenge, this program provides a safe, supportive environment to learn something new, build confidence and connect with others who understand service, teamwork and community. Delivered through a collaboration between Invisible Injuries, RSL WA – RSL Active and Wyvern Resilience, this experience is about much more than learning to dive—it's about discovering new possibilities, creating meaningful connections and opening the door to ongoing wellbeing opportunities. Maximum 6 participants per session
Why Come Try Diving? Trying something new can be one of the most rewarding ways to build confidence, improve wellbeing and reconnect with others. Scuba diving encourages calm breathing, present-moment awareness, trust, teamwork and resilience—all qualities that support positive mental health and personal growth. Unlike many recreational activities, scuba diving allows participants to experience an entirely different environment, encouraging curiosity, focus and achievement while learning at their own pace. Our goal isn't simply to teach people how to dive. Our goal is to create an enjoyable experience that helps participants reconnect with themselves, build confidence and become part of a welcoming community. Whether you continue into recreational diving or simply enjoy the experience, Come Try Diving offers the opportunity to discover a new passion in a safe and supportive environment.
