- Decided to reschedule Katherine area and punch through towards Kakadu National park and childhood town of Jabiru
- Checkpoints at Nth/Sth entries to Katherine
- Decided on staying 2/3 nights at Pine Creek to adjust our itenerary
- Andy mix bag of emotions with news of Afghanistan

- Explore Pone Creek and train museum
- Met “Bomber” Brown, ex navy Vietnam veteran turret gunner / 1 x veteran who told us about some other mindful places to check out on our travels

- Prep for transit and contacted Veteran mate in Darwin for catch-up
